1. Raw DMF: wich means medium density fiberboard:

It is the material that is used for all furniture that goes lacquered, enameled to the water or the diy option qthat we sell raw for you to finish as you choose.

This material is composed of small fibers of pulverized wood and agglomerated together with a binder.

. Its smooth and uniform surface is perfect to finish it as you want.

3. Raw wood finish If you want to finish one of our furniture yourself, and you are not going to paint it, we use solid pine boards and pine veneered boards, we choose the pine because although the oak, beech, or cherry, are better valued, the pine is nice, has a well defined vein and is cheaper (its growth is faster) and what we wanted was to get furniture with a great appearance, a great durability and at the lowest possible cost, forget about more expensive woods, in our opinion it does not make sense, the times that I have been taught a table telling me it was oak and it was not, the duration of the furniture in pine is equal eternal, and unless you are a cabinetmaker, you will hardly see the difference.

The veneered pine board: it is composed of a chipboard of agglomerated particles and 2 layers (top and bottom) of pine wood veneer. It is a more resistant material than the wood itself, which does not buckle or bend over time and which is much easier to work with and therefore more economical.

1. Wengué finish:  It is made of solid pine and veneered pine boards which have been dyed dark brown almost black and which are varnished with sprayed polyurethane in specific workshops (it can not be done at home since polyurethane varnishes are not recommended for the home environment) The varnishing we do in lagoa is always satin (neither bright at all nor completely matt).

As I tell you that the dyeing can be done at home and get a great finish, the varnished satin polyurethane made in workshop with gun is impossible to reproduce at home, so I would recommend that you choose a matt varnish if you dare to do so yourselves, here you have a tutorial.

2. Bleached finish: It is made of solid pine and veneered pine boards that have been dyed white showing the vein of the wood, to me personally, is the one I like the most, is the most “honest” and gives light to the interiors and makes them more spacious without being cold, or too modern …

3. Lacquered: Our lacquers are satin, water based  and hand applied by professionals in well ventilated areas preferably with a mask and good pulse, they are perfect in the finish and very resistant. If you want to do something similar here you got another tutorial.

.

If you choose wood as the base, the finish will have a little relief, (the one from the wood grain), if you choose dmf, the finish will be completly plain.
