Dont know exactly how to define this proyect, that was born from the need to cover an ugly wire fence , for some reason nothing can grow up infront, maybe 1 meter on the left, or a couple meter right, but  no way in this place…

Looking at that ugly fence i thought about cross stitch patterns, and crocheters movement that are making installations on different cities, urban knitting...

And ther it was the idea! Why dont we stitch some trees on the fence?

decor garden crochet pines.

No need to look after, they are nordic style, or minimal, whatever you want to call it, no water needed (i guess someone can say they are ecologic because of this) and decor very well…

You can think the mistress of the house could kill me, but she is my mother and she is acostumed to this type of unexpected interventions by me, by now the pines are still there, I threaten to do more…

pino crochet patronIf some one wants to download the pattern to repeat it,here you got it, variations are endless, sure it looks nice in colors, I made them with white plastic thread, to make contrast with the wood behind, but it can be made with any material for outdoor use.

What do you think?

If you make one please tell us! We are wishing that the pine family grows and cover all the ugly wire fences around the world…
